It’s the fact that a lot of them are being eliminated before evening making it to the interview stages because of reasons that are not legitimate but solely beliefs of those in leadership roles. Then the few who make it through the hiring processes are scrutinized and held to a different standard than their counterparts which often leads to their departure rather voluntarily or forced. These are things I have experienced firsthand however I do believe there are developments in a lot of companies. As more leadership programs are developed, more minorities and women are promoted, and individuals are held accountable for their actions it will force light to be shed on the injustice actions.
