Opposite of that if you tend to believe that working hard as an individual will lead you to success and setbacks are temporary, you have a growth mindset. Now you’re probably thinking at this point why do these mindsets determine the choices we make in life and how well succeed or fail in life, and how do we develop these mindsets in the first place, a controversial answer to that is how

Nelson Mandela once said,“The greatest glory in living lies not in never failing, but in rising every time you fail.” Failure helps you to become stronger because it helps you to set a goal. For instance, if you fail a test your goal will be to ace the next test. The more you look at your failing grade, the more inspired you are to do better. Failing also helps you to learn.…

But failures are not all bad; in fact, I believe that they bring more positive outcomes than negative. They are not permanent and they are not self-defining, failures do not identify my worth or abilities, but rather present opportunities for growth. They are simply obstacles, roadblocks, as well as stepping-stones, to success. Without the obstacles that I have faced and overcome in my life, I would not have experienced personal growth to the extent that I am glad to say I have accomplished. Some failures seem worth defining and diminishing to my personal…

Failure is the product of the inability to achieve a certain goal, outcome, or satisfactory result. The feeling you get from failing is a gut wrenching pain that isn't easy to get rid of. It can disrupt a person’s life and make them second guess themselves and all they have went through. I have also had a profound taste of failure in my sports, work, and school life. But while failures can make life miserable for a moment they can change your outlook on life, help you recover from, and make you realize that if you apply yourself you have a greater chance at accomplishing your goals.…

Failure can occur at any point while striving towards the goal, as any attempt at succeeding involves multiple steps, and each step requires successful completion. Failure is expected, and it is because of failure that perseverance and determination show in additional attempts at success. The more often a person fails and takes a second chance, the stronger he or she becomes, and his or her chance at ultimately succeeding and reaching his or her goal increases dramatically. Without failure, success would not have any meaning, and the achievement has a greater significance if it required hard work. It is also through mistakes and upsets that the right way is learned.…

During my junior year I experienced failure. I had taken 3 AP classes and I was in cheer at my high school, and trying to figure out a balance between the two was difficult for me because it seemed like cheer took up a lot of my time and in the past other two years it had, but I had managed to still do well in my honors and AP classes. My junior year was another story, I struggled a lot at the beginning of the school year, and most of first semester was spent with me having an F sometimes more than one, and that was a failure to me because I had my heart set on going to a four college or university and I knew that if i had an F i wouldnt qualify.…

According to Skip Downing “a Creator is a person who consistently makes wise choices which create the results that they wish to achieve”, and “a Victim is someone who does not believe they can effect or control the things that happen to them in life”. According to my own thoughts, I want to think and act as a Creator rather than trying to blame every situation as a Victim.…

Even when I do everything possible to succeed, it is still possible to fail. Since this experience dealing with failure has become much easier even though I strive not to fail. This situation has helped me deal with many school failures, such as my end of the quarter test. Similar to my slump, my last quarter of Government was not showing the type of student I am, and there was one last shot to get the grade up. I know that failing that test didn't mean I wasn't smart, but instead, it wasn’t my day as luck wasn’t on my side.…

Failure is all around us, for most of us it is a daily occurrence even with little things like failing a quiz or missing a shot in your game. I used to let my failures define me and who I have been especially when I failed to make the Varsity soccer team my junior year. I believed I worked hard and I should have been able to accomplish this goal of mine. I worked hard throughout the summer and tried my hardest to keep up with the other girls so I would make Varsity.…

When I sense I may fail at something, I make an attempt anyways. This helps me break away from the trap of the fixed mindset and into the more productive world of the growth mindset. When I try even though I think I will fail, and end up succeeding, it is a pleasant surprise that inspires me to keep trying. For example, I would often tell myself that I was horrible at math in high school. Based on my past low scores, I assumed my math skills were “fixed” and could not improve.…

Having character means having integrity and having integrity means you are a good person. You should have qualities like being wise ,compassionate, honest .The bad part about having a lot of character the good kind of course is that not everyone will like you because you will do the right thing and bad people will want you to do the wrong thing but you will stay strong which they won't like. I think coach pennington has good character and stands up for what he believes in, he is a natural born leader and cares . He lacks dishonesty, cowardness , and self pity . I think the key factor of being successful in our life is learning every day and trying new things and doing what we know very well and try not take risks is very bad decision it just make us lose our goals because of that I disagree with the idea that not take risks and keep doing same thing for two reason: First of all, in my opinion, all human being like new things in all aspects of life for example they like new tools, new foods, new songs, new vehicles and even new makeups and new hairstyle. Because of this attribute of human, being dynamic and trying new things are meaningful and can make us more attractive. With power of attractiveness we can modify and manipulate everything, and ask people whatever we want, that can help us to approach…

Happiness: A Widely Misunderstood Feeling Happiness is a diverse subject with innumerable topics. I will be discussing several questions that go along with happiness, but there is one main question that I 'd like to examine. How do cultural attributes and social issues impact happiness? Although some people will argue that cultures do not affect happiness as much as social issues, I strongly believe that how you are raised and the culture you are brought up in changes your desires and drives for happiness.…
