This passage is worthy of discussion because if you didn’t understand what a green bullet was, this was your chance to get a real understanding of what it is/does. Beatty finally realizes that all the men have a green bullet in their ear. Beatty then realizes Faber is encouraging Montag to do things like this. This reveals that Beatty wants to get rid of Montag and the rest of the firemen to protect her community/world. This impacts my understanding of the book because at first I didn’t know what a green bullet was but I finally knew after this part of the book. This also sets some ‘drama’ and conflict in the book because Beatty is getting Montag arrested.
