Fahrenheit 451 Character Analysis

Imagine living in a time period where books were outlawed and firemen are burning books. Guy Montag is a fireman whose job is to burn the houses of which books are being kept. Montag meets Clarisse McClellan who is changing the way he views the world. With his newfound clarity Montag meets with an acquaintance by the name of Faber who will help Montag on his journey. Montag now plans to takes action with the help of a few new friends he meets. Guy Montag is no longer satisfied with everyday life and feels the need to take matters into his own hand with the help of friends. Montag’s view on the world changes when he meets Clarisse. When Montag meets Clarisse he knows from the start that she is a tad peculiar. Clarisse is not afraid of Montag even though he is a fireman. Clarisse asks Montag many questions about the small details in life that many do not notice and neither does Montag. Montag is in desperate need of help and acknowledgement. Montag can not talk to his wife because she sits and listens to the parlor walls and Clarisse is dead, Faber is his only option.
