In the novel Fahrenheit 451, the main character Montag is a character that changes in a snap of a finger. Montag literally changes his whole personality throughout the whole book. Throughout the book Fahrenheit 451 Montag grows as a person and becomes a more independent individual. In fact Montag rely less on people.
