The book Jurassic park by Michael Crichton includes many similarities from the movie of Steven Spielberg making it almost the same. But not only the movie itself is comparable to the book, but instead the books that we’ve read in school. I will be discussing the connection of the books that we have read to the book Jurassic park by Michael Crichton.
To begin, a book that can be compared with Jurassic Park would be Fahrenheit 451 by the author Ray Bradbury. Fahrenheit 451 is comparable because they are both fictional. I say that the books are fictional because Tyrannosaurus Rexes and Mechanical Hounds that can do unknown abilities do not exist in our society today. They are also comparable with the uses of imagery and details in their figurative language. Imagery and details are used by both authors because they are able to engage the reader. Greek mythology is similar to this because of the story Cronus. In the story, the readers see that the titan Cronus seems to be evil causing him to eat his own children. This is similar to the plot of Jurassic Park because of vicious animals wanting to kill the characters. It’s also similar to the plot because the characters running away in Jurassic Park are also similar to Zeus and his brothers and sisters running away from their father. Overall, the plot of Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton and the story of Cronus the Titan in greek mythology are fairly similar to each other.
As a result Jurassic Park can also be seen with other similarities from other books than only just the movie. These books are similar to Jurassic Park through plot and language.
