Ahh! I had barely escaped the path of a lazer bullet as it carved through the darkness. The cruel man in front of me grinned savagely: "Aww, would you look at that! The lizard is getting tired. Maybe it's past its bedtime." A guttural growl escaped my clenched teeth, and it was all I could do not to massacre him then and there. I shivered as I tried desperately to cool my fiery temper, but even as I fought that glaring anger, I knew I was losing. The man's next words were more than enough to break my concentration. "Aww. Has the little dragon's fire been put out?" That phrase was the straw that broke the camel's back. Or dragon's back. Whatever, I wasn't in the joking mood. Losing to my anger, I lashed out with a clawed hand, exactly what the villain, Lord Neo, wanted. Grinning manically at my clearly telegraphed move, he was quick to take the opportunity to deck me in the face. Hard. …show more content…
For an evil mastermind, he's strong, and the metal gauntlets aren't exactly helpful. By now I had finally succumbed to my berserker rage, and was lashing out mercilessly at him. Although my movements were very predictable, I was moving so fast that I simply appeared as a silver blur to him. In this state I knew he wouldn't be countering any of my moves.

His power was threatened, but he knew how to preserve it. With some subterfuge he convinced all of his enemies to attend his banquet. Acting as the perfect host, he served his guests. Then he annihilated them. Death alone was not enough: he needed his wrath to be known; he gently laid his enemies upon their stomachs, their arms bound behind them, and used a mallet to thrust a blunt stake through the length of their bodies, making certain that it did not puncture any vital organs.…

Fictional characters and real people must adapt to change when they face it in life. The way in which a character approaches and adapts to change usually defines his character. In the novels Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, the two protagonists of each respective story are faced with change and must adapt to it. Each character is defined through the way he adapts to the change or adversity that he is faced with. Guy Montag, of Fahrenheit 451, is faced with the change of losing someone important in his life, whereas Arthur Dent, of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, is faced with the destruction of his homeland and the relocation to a new place.…

Montag, the protagonist of Fahrenheit 451, changes by finding the true potential of life and intellect. At first glance, he is seen to be disconnected from his wife and is like any other fireman in society. However, within more time, Montag soon begins to morph into a different person which ultimately resembles the colors that are vigorously limned on top of the stark white canvas. The shine of white that comes through the symphony of colors can personify the emotion of impassiveness. Likewise, other aspects of the painting cannot be seen from a faraway perspective or without an open mindset; for example, the layering of the painting may seem like an artistic element that was just placed there; however, it can symbolize Montag’s journey to break free from oppression…

Picking up his now very heavy feet, Montag continued walking with the rest of the equally exhausted men. They were now very deep into the forest and surrounded by nothing but green, and above them, blue with the occasional fluf of white. The towering trees seemed huge to Montag compared to the fragile twig branched ones he was used to seeing planted in the city. His eyes caught one exceptionally large tree and followed it’s length to get a glimpse of the top. At the quick sight of the lush greenery which he assumed was the end of the tree, the sun flashed it’s beaming rays into his eyes making him quickly tilt his head back down.…
