Fahad is a ninth grade student and he is suffering from traumatic brain injury. In the early childhood, brain injury has sufficient effects on the long term memory, abstract reasoning and his ability to self-monitor his owns tasks and behaviors. He is included in the General education class and supporting his according to his capabilities of learning and picking.
Math: Fahad is indicating improvement in addition and subtraction. He can do single digit plus and minus single digits.. Fahad can present his increase tables up to 3's. Fahad needs redirection to take as much time as necessary while regrouping his including and subtractions. Fahad needs assistance perceiving paper money and coins. His current reading level is short k-first levels. Fahad can perceive vocabulary in primer Dolch assemble. Fahad is getting better in phonetically sounding out unfamiliar kindergarten and first grade level vocabulary words. Fahad continues to work hard on his writing, he can place capital letters toward the start of the sentence and utilizing punctuation. Fahad can be excessively confident with regards to his reading anyway he struggles recalling facts inside a story. Fahads current test scores are 75%, 77%, 70%, 73%, 83%.
Social Studies and Science: Fahad struggles on an academic level in both classes. He is often needs provoking to pay attention. When Fahad answers questions they are mostly incorrect anyway he has a positive attitude when the class reacts to the incorrect answers. Fahad appreciates PE and competing with his peers Fahad's current test score are 63%, 60%, 58%, 66%.
Life Skills; Fahad is gaining ground in his personal hygienic skills. Fahad can wash face and brush his teeth before school and he can wash his hands at school. Fahad knows how to utilize is social graces independent. Fahad responds well to one-on-one attention and praise.
