Four students from North Carolina State University invented a nail polish called "Undercover Colors" that detects commonly used date rape drugs. The nail polish works by changing color after being dipped in the drink if a date rape drug such as Rohypnol, Xanax or GHB is indicated. Any person will be able to ensure their safety by simply stirring the drink with their finger, if their nail polish changes color; they’ll know a date rape drug is detected.
Date rape drugs can be very harmful to the human body and should be avoided at all costs. “These drugs are very dangerous and someone may slip the drug into your drink without you even knowing it for they often have no color, odor, or taste.
