Cancer is the uncontrolled growth of cells that are able to avoid tissue. Cancer can spread throughout the body by using the blood and lymph node systems. Carcinoma is a cancer that begins in the skin that line internal organs. Sarcoma is cancer that begins in cartilage, fat, muscle, blood vessels, fibrous tissue, or other connective or supportive tissue. There are different types of sarcoma that are based on where it forms. Osteosarcoma forms in bone, rhabdomyosarcoma forms in muscle, and liposarcoma forms in fat. Treatment depends on the type of the Sarcoma. The symptoms are almost never during the early stages and if they are they are usually vague. By the time it becomes noticeable the patient is usually in the advanced stages. The symptoms can vary depending on the location, type and stage of the cancer.
