According to the class syllabus, the facilitator is committed to the students by being available, having a quick response time frame, is interactive with the students, and giving feedback along with grading. The facilitator is available during posted v-camp office hours and by scheduling a phone call, chat, etc. to assist students (Bethel University, 2017). The availability of a facilitator is important to the success of students. Institutions with minimum or no facilitator availability tend to have a lower retention rate, than those with larger and more dependable facilitator availability (Pfund, Rogan, Burnham, & Norcross, 2013). Students tend to be more successful with academic support.

These announcements include suggestions and reminders. They allow students to receive important and updated information quickly. Engagement is a great way of assisting students with becoming successful. In my opinion, this is the most important part of committing to students.
Lastly, grading is the bulk of the course. Rarely, does anyone take a course out of boredom. I believe feedback is more important than the grade alone. These writing skills are crucial to not only my academic success, but for a successful career. A person will learn to speak better by developing and strengthening APA writing skills. Writing and speaking go together. It is nearly impossible for a person to speak poorly, but write wonderfully. There are no excuses for writing or speaking poorly. One can use resources, such as vocabulary builder, to become a better writer (Bethel University, 2017 (ATTEND)). Individuals will be more marketable with strong speaking and writing skills.
Lastly, a person must be able to think critically to be successful. Problems are solved through these skills. Most employers are looking to hire individuals with great critical thinking skills. Employers have a desire to maintain employees whom can solve problems. Companies make better profits when solutions are found to solve the reasons for profit loss. All companies want to make profits.
