Facebook became popular In India when I was In 7th grade. My friends flowed with fashion and created their accounts on it. I thought It would be illegal to do as such and so I did not create an account on it. Few days later my friend told me how Facebook reminded her of her aunts birthday, she had completely forgot about. But then she told me that Instead of calling her aunt she just messaged her on Facebook. This moment I was filled with hatred towards It. On Facebook, I conducted a questionnaire asking several people about their feelings and mood after looking through their Facebook wall(news feed). One of my friends, Rushi replied to my question saying, "Whenever I feel a little bit low and less energized I look through my newsfeed and I feel happy and bit energized. I don 't know what magic my newsfeed has, but It changes my mood and how I feel In seconds". I personally get revived after looking at my newsfeed, It feels like all my stress and worries for any assignments has left my brain for few minutes. I feel like my brain Is In good working condition and I feel contended. Shelley E et al., says that," The well- being promotes different criteria of mental health, Including the ability to care about others, the ability to be happy or contented, and the ability to engage In productive and creative work"(Google Scholar). When we are mentally happy our brains work better and we tend to be more Into our tasks later. For example, Flower Paige says," In a study at the University of Melbourne, workers given a 10-mInute break to read Facebook were 16 percent more productive than a group that wasn’t allowed to use the Internet during the rest, and 40 percent more productive than people who didn’t receive a break at all" (Men 's Health). There have been many studies as such and the majority of results have proved that facebook wall
