The Facebook attribution window is by default 1 day after viewing an ad and 28 days after clicking on an ad. The attribution window can be changed to fit each client’s conversion definition:
0 days, 1 day, 7 days or 28 days after viewing ad
0 days, 1 day, 7 days or 28 days after clicking ad
It relates to Google Analytics Attribution because often time advertisers compare their reported Facebook conversions with their Facebook conversions reported by Google and more often than not, Facebook appears to be over reporting. It’s not, it is just defining the action as a conversion or the wrong page is considered a conversion. Google is only reporting direct referral conversions.
