Cotton assured that “The failure of this bill this week doesn’t solve the problems of Obamacare, it’s continuing to get worse and our healthcare system is groaning under the weight of Obamacare.” He also gave his reaction on how the process of the bill was a big factor in it failing. “To release a bill that was written in secret, and then expect it to pass in eighteen days, I just don’t think it was feasible,” said Tom Cotton. Cotton believes that the House moved a little too fast on attempting to pass this bill. Although, a pro to the fact that the bill has now failed is that the government now has more time to revisit it in a more deliberate manner. So a positive thing to take out the failing of this bill is that now the new bill the government can establish can be more secure and immensely thought out, instead of being rushed and thrown together.
