The opportunities granted by FIU Honors are a necessity to become truly educated and to be a prominent member of the community and of the workforce. It would be such an honor to become a student in this prestigious program. The five pillars of FIU Honors are research skills, interdisciplinary/connectivity, global learning, appreciation of the global arts, and leadership/community engagement; all are concepts that I want to be able to achieve as a college student, and FIU Honors will force me to realize these goals.
