FBLA: Role Of Locker Organization For Student Success In Business

Improved Essays
Our FBLA chapter has raised its revenue through multiple fundraisers and donations this year. Our primary source of raising money was the sale of Locker Organizers by LockerWorks. These organizers were available for students at the beginning of the year, and are the favored method of locker organization for students. These organizers came in a variety of colors, and were available to be purchased for twenty dollars each. Our chapter was able to receive eight dollars from each organizer sold. We were able to raise $250 this year. Organization is a key component of success in both school and in business, and by providing these organizers our goal was to provide students with the opportunity to be more successful in school and in their future.

Most know Ronald Reagan best for his acting career and presidency, but not many look back to his past and sees how his leadership roles started early in life; which is where mine starts. Throughout my life, leadership has always been a part of me, I have always strained to help others and try to lead them the right way. Trying my hardest has helped me make a great impact to those around me by showing them what can be done. When I was in eighth grade, a new opportunity was given to my class to take a high school course early, and I decided to be one of the few to go through with it, knowing it would be a lot of work. I started thinking about how this could be a benefit to me.…

Touched on in our interview, Koch mentioned that although direct mailing was a fairly profitable venture with $32 per a letter, it was “old-school” and represents the wants of an older generation of donors. By framing the need for a new generation of support in the form of sustainable growth for the organization,…

Blood Drive C/Pease On October 5th, Detachment 485 AFROTC teamed up with the New Jersey Blood Center, to host its second ever blood drive. The blood drive was a massive success. The Latin American Student Organization was a cosponsor of this event and as the organizer for this event, I really have to reach out a whole-hearted thanks to the LASO community, for without them, I do not believe that this blood drive would have been able to reach the audience that it had. This blood drive was able to collect 50 pints of blood, potentially saving the lives of 150 people. Along with this amazing statistic, this blood drive was able to earn a $500 scholarship for the Raven’s Booster Club.…
