From the day of creation until sin was found therein, he was perfect in his way, there was wisdom and perfect beauty. But his perfection was the cause of the pride that led to hid destruction. The most prominent attribute of Satan is his wisdom. Especially in Ezekiel 28, the most common word to describe Satan's reality is wisdom. Satan is the embodiment of pride. The greatest reason to be wary of "pride' is to deceive oneself. God hates pride so much and doesn't want people to be prideful because pride is the root of iniquity in this world. Satan was expelled from the presence of God because of his pride and jealousy.
