Eyes Of A Stalker

Eyes of a stalker is a great book, it has a lot of details and it is really descriptive. The topic of this book is really interesting which lead me to choose this book for our lit circles. While reading this book, I noticed that it is a page turner and I’m hooked on it. Shelby is a normal girl who has a boyfriend named Greg. She received a plant from the delivery man with a tag on it which said “you will always be mine”. This has creeped out Shelby’s family, Greg and herself.
A particular part which mad me uncomfortable was when Shelby received the plant. This part is extremely important from chapters 1 to 6 and is probably the main part from these chapters. When Shelby received the plant, I could feel Shelby being scared, unsafe and a bit threatened. Not that I have experienced something like this before but the author made me

The stalker’s objective is to find you alone if you aren’t alone then nothing will happen because he knows 1 on 4 is not a good idea. There is another way to capture this stalker and I think this is the best way. You need to call the police without letting the stalker know, after that, the police has to hide in your house, not being visible. The victim, also known as Shelby should stay there visible in your home. If the stalker sees this he will use this opportunity to get whatever he wants from Shelby. This is where the action appears when the stalker comes in, the police with getting out from their places, gun pointed at the stalker and now he is caught. I think this is the best way because this is fast and simple and you get to your objective. You also outsmarted the stalker and he is now off your back. This method is used in many cases because it is extremely effective. This method does not always work because a stalker knows everything so he might know if the police are at your home. You still need to be careful even if the police is there to protect

Question 21. What were your feelings after reading the first few pages of the book? What details from the book made you feel that way? When I read the first few chapters of Cress by Marissa Meyer, I was filled with excitement to keep reading; the first chapters were not only continuing the stories of Cinder and Scarlet, but also adding Cress. Since the book splits between two stories, you have twice the anxiousness.…

In the case of State v. Evans, 671 N.W.2d 720, (2003). , we see the distress of the victim that suffered from both harassment and stalking from her predator for a period that span more than three years (Brody and Acker, 2010). The harassment aspect that Hubert Evans summited the victim, Rebecca Arnold, to started out at a very slow rate with it become more intense and leading to stalking over years leading to the arrest of Mr. Evans and criminal conviction for harassment and stalking (Brody and Acker, 2010). The criminal charges were heard by a judge and jury where Mr. Evans gained a criminal conviction for the charges that he faced in the trial. The criminal conviction of Mr. Evans lead to his appeal to the State of Iowa Appeals court to evaluate the case as it relates to the state statute for harassment and stalking (Brody and Acker, 2010).…

During chapters four through six both Gene and Phineas went up and over with their rational decisions, which led to one person happy and others hurt. These three chapters weren’t as good, in my opinion, as the first three but didn’t make me want to stop reading the book. Three things that stood out in these chapters were; the drastic change from Gene, Phineas’s shirt being put on by Gene, and giving in and helping Gene’s domination. Our main character Gene has changed a lot from the first three chapters to now in the book. During chapters four through six Gene cared a lot more about his appearance and did everything he could to better himself.…

I don’t think this book was missing anything at all because it had something for everyone. What I mean by that is most people when they see think “Oh this is a football book no way i'm going to like it” but in reality it a book that anyone can like not just sports fans.…

My favorite line in the book “The Things They Carried” was located in the final story “The Lives of the Dead”. “I’m young and happy. I’ll never die. I’m skimming across the surface of my own history, moving fast, riding the melt beneath the blades, doing loops and spins, and when I take a high leap into the dark and come down thirty years later, I realize it is as Tim trying to save Timmy ’s life with a story.…

Is it fair to have a book that many people consider a must read to be taken off the shelves of bookstores and libraries everywhere because it made some people upset? Many people think that taking books off the shelves is a violation of a person’s first amendment right, their free speech. Lois Duncan’s Killing Mr. Griffin has been challenged countless times by many groups of people who feel that the book’s plot and language should not be something that people are reading about and the authors of the inappropriate books are to blame. When groups of people join together to try to get any book off the shelves and out of the minds of readers the first amendment becomes a very important issue. The first amendment guarantees the freedom of…

My favorite part of the book is the final heist and how all of the pieces of the puzzle go together. It’s cool how everything that they planned turned out to happen. Throughout this summer I read the book “Dreaming in Chinese: Mandarin Lessons in Life, Love, and Language” by Deborah Fallows. It is a memoir about the discoveries Deborah Fallows made through her journey of living in China for three years. She wrote about the good and bad but also the different things she learned in the process. For example she wrote about her troubles when she first started getting introduced to the different tones, but then she learned that although the tones may sound the same, the character is what changes the different tone to the different meaning. Her example was that shī (狮), shí (十), shǐ (使), shì (是) sound the same but mean lion, ten, to make, and to be because the different characters change the meaning.…

How did I feel about the book Unlikely Allies? I had lots of difficulty reading the book, from the sudden changes in scenes to the exhausting writing. It felt like a sloppy mess of sudden twists and turns that would, in most books, keep me intrigued, but this did not interest me at all. If the author added just a little bit of flair to the certain parts of the writing then I think I would really enjoy the book. The book had things I didn’t like, a few things I did like, and a couple things I would change.…
