Three common injuries are eye injuries, concussions, and mouth injuries. Eye injuries are very common. They usually occur when someone is hit in the eye with fingers, elbows, and possibly the ball itself. (Moms Team, N/A) But luckily, many injuries are minor and almost none required surgery. Also, less than 10% were major. Of course eye injuries would be common, with all that kicking, pushing, shoving and hitting, and the ball flying in the air. There’s a high chance the ball will hit someone in the face maybe breaking their nose and damaging their eyes.
