As such, Hillary losing the election is not necessarily a result of America’s distaste for her, but rather America’s refusal to move forward as a nation. To the uneducated or older part of white America, the concept that immigrants and LGBTQ+ individuals should be considered equal to them under the law is too novel of an idea to risk a Clinton presidency, regardless of her experience in the field. The idea that women should have sole right to their bodies is too ridiculous of a concept that this specific demographic chose to vote for an inexperienced and volatile individual rather than risk voting for a woman who had dedicated her entire life to politics and the betterment of our nation.
However, if one chooses to analyze the extrinsic factors surrounding Clinton’s defeat (public’s view of her authenticity, sexism, xenophobia), it is only fair to consider the intrinsic factors that may have contributed to her landslide loss to Trump. Did her actions in the Benghazi scandal and the email fiasco truly destroy her public image and make her lose all credibility in the eyes of the American people?
Conservatives use the Benghazi scandal as one of their main weapons against Clinton. A wrongful death lawsuit brought to Clinton by the parents of a deceased Benghazi victim states the following:

“Nine different investigations into this attack” have occurred “and none found any evidence whatsoever of any wrongdoing on the part of Hillary Clinton” (Sherman). Clinton’s innocence has been corroborated by at least nine investigation, yet she faces backlash for the Benghazi scandal even now. Because of the repeated referral to the Benghazi scandal by conservatives, it is not baseless to argue that conservatives were using it as an attack against Hillary to destroy her public image, rather than pursuing it out of a genuine sense of

The manner that Clinton answers these questions will more than likely show whether or not Clinton will continue in the campaign, or whether she will be shunned for her past actions and will more than likely lose the campaign. One of the more possible outcomes is that public dissatisfaction with Clinton will grow, as people who were borderline between liking or disliking Clinton will now feel like she is not responsible enough for presidency. This issue has certainly proved that Clinton did not do a relatively good job even as Secretary of State and maybe she is not exactly the best-equipped to be the next president, with far more responsibility and far more importance to the decisions she makes. Questions: Do you believe that Hillary Clinton is not to blame for the lack of response to the Benghazi attacks? How significantly do you think this hearing will impact the way most people feel about Clinton?…

Misrepresentation is defined as “the action or offense of giving a false or misleading account of the nature of something”. The documentary, Miss Representation, by Jennifer Siebel Newsom addresses this as definition as it applies to the media and politics for women. The documentary tackles the topic of the media’s representation of women and the consequent socialization into traditional gender roles. Not only are traditional gender messages that are perpetuated by the media pervasive, powerful, and pernicious, but also, women’s delayed progress in politics can be traced back to the media’s representation of women.…

Clinton's presidency was a seemingly long hard road. During his second term as President, He was impeached due to charges of lying under oath to a grand jury and obstruction of justice. However, the real underlying reason for the impeachment was Clinton’s denial of the Lewinsky Affair. The public opinion of the Lewinsky Affair allowed the Republican party to create a political strategy to use against Clinton. “Contending that Clinton had committed perjury, Republican leaders made the affair the centerpiece of their quest to defeat Democrats in the 1998 congressional elections” (Jansson, 2012,p.398).…

William Jennings Bryan once said, “Never be afraid to stand with the minority when the minority is right, for the minority which is right will soon be the majority.” So often being Americans, we catch ourselves pulling for the underdog or cheering with the minority in hopes to see the majority fall in embarrassment. Historically speaking an independent woman was frowned upon and in some cases, they still are and a black African American was not even considered to be politically capable of running a country until 2008 when Barak Obama became president of the United States. Men and woman, both black and white throughout history have been underestimated and thrown to the side with the minority who accepted them. It takes a special leader from…

This article is a perfect example of the ignorance that surrounds the Last Fridays release of The Trump Video. The article suggest that Billy Bush was NBC's scapegoate after the release of the video, and that the video was released as a strategic way to bringing down Trump. I don't disagree that Billy Bush was let go as a result of the video. I also don't disagree that it was strategically released with the intention of tarnishing Trump. However, I do disagree with authors logic.…

All the President’s Men, an investigative, nonfiction book by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, details the investigation into the Watergate scandal of the 1970s caused by President Richard Nixon and his team. By detailing the investigation of a burglary, recounting the discovery of a high-profile scandal, and revealing the importance of both anonymous and credited sources, Woodward and Bernstein analyze the factors that were necessary in exposing President Nixon’s part in the Watergate scandal. All the President’s Men argues that the foundation of a just society rests upon investigative political journalism. Furthermore, without the active pursuit of the truth powered by journalistic integrity and teamwork, the American public would be oblivious or unable to respond to illegal behavior in government.…

There has always been a shroud of fog around the personal matters of the Clinton’s, but underneath that shroud there is a hidden evil that is incomparable to any other American politician. The Clinton’s have been involved in many conspicuous affairs including White Water and the Ives/Henry case. They also have been involved in around 100 deaths of people close to them or people who worked for them. They have used witness intimidation and other scare tactics to harass witnesses into not testifying, and if they don’t agree, they are normally dead within days. Because of the amount of Clinton body guards that have been killed, the Ives Henry case, Whitewater, and the amount of the Clinton’s fellow party members that have died around them, it is…
