Extreme Zone Book Report

Decent Essays
For my book report I chose to read Extreme Zone (Night Terrors) . The author of this book is M.C. Summer. Also this book is Fiction but very good. This book takes place at night & in his bedroom. For an example " He woke up screaming & looking outside to the dark sky. " Also this book is told by third person. Basically the story is based on Noah & Harley, which are the main characters. They both share the same things they've went through. When they first met eachother it was a instant connection between them both. Caroline has played a role in this book but knowing what they are going through & helping them at the library with the books he picked out. The plot is very weird & kinda off, because ones you think you know the plot everything just

The books both demonstrate that we remember the past to understand and in doing so understand sacrifice and bravery, understand suffering, and understand their perspectives. Both books demonstrate character bravery, demonstrate views of how Jews were being treated, and demonstrate beliefs and perspectives. The Book Thief is a book about a girl named Liesel.…

Journal # 1 Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad is a book I read for my University English class. People always say don’t judge a book by it’s cover, but I am that one guy that does. When I first looked at the book to be completely honest, I thought it had something to do with witches or something really unrealistic. I know I have a wild imagination. The first couple of pages of the book got me hooked instantly, I loved how the book just starts and how the narrator gets right into his adventure as a young man into the Congo River.…

Night, by Elie Wiesel, should be taught in Group VIII at Greenwich Academy because it prevents violence from becoming natural, Group VIII is mature enough to understand the torture Holocaust victims went through, and it fits with the Group VIII curriculum in History and English. Because this book shows young adults the effects of violence, readers will know the consequences of discrimination and will stop a second Holocaust from happening. In their everyday lives, teenagers are exposed to violence. It becomes natural for violence to happen with little to no ramifications.…

The title of the book I read is Trapped by Michael Northrop. Their is a significance of this title and it is that these kids are trapped in a school for a few weeks and they are stuck there because of a blizzard. This was the worst blizzard ever recorded. The author wrote this novel because it kind of informs you how to survive when you are trapped in a school, and what you should do to survive. It would be very scary if you were stuck in a school with little resources to survive.…

The book I chose to read for the third quarter is called “The Anybodies”. This book was written by Julianna Baggott (N. E. Bode). I was excited to read this book because the cover looked very interesting and it seemed like a book I would be interested to read. This book is about a girl named Fern who was switched with another baby at birth and she lived with a very boring family, the Drudgers, her whole life. Eleven years later, Fern’s biological father comes to their front door and the families agree to exchange their kids for the summer.…

Night: by Elie Wiesel I chose to do a book report on this book called: “Night” written by Eliezer Wiesel. The author, Eliezer Wiesel is an actual survivor of the Holocaust, and he endured the suffering of living in the Auschwitz labour camps. This book is a first hand memoir of the horrors and painful experiences Elie Wiesel had endured when he was only fifteen years old. Throughout the book, Elie describes his struggle to keep his faith in God, as he is unable to believe that a loving God could allow horrible things happen to his “chosen” people. The title of the book, “Night” , refers to the the darkness and silence that Elie went through as a teenager living in a concentration camp.…
