Extra- Circular activates have also helped me in actively chasing my goals. Becoming a member and captain of my debate team as well as being the first Ethiopian-American Lieutenant Governor of the Junior State of Americas Texas chapter has taught me numerous lessons in leadership and collaboration. I have also developed these valuable qualities through my academy mentoring program. By mentoring younger students at my school I have been able to understand with a hardworking attitude, ambition and most importantly dedication anything and everything is possible. Extra Circular Activates have showed me the benefits of many, however they have also taught me the power of unity as one. Participating in community service has opened my eyes completely
