Children who are healthy and active; spends time playing outside in fresh air, and have healthy and varied diet, they are more likely to develop in a normal and healthy way as compared to those children, who have poor diet, might have serious illness and might not be able to play actively. Children who for whatever reason don’t get to play outside as much as other children and don’t get to spend enough time playing with their own age group can lead to both social and emotional challenges in their later life, as much of the development around these two areas is linked to practice and we all know that practice makes you perfect which means the more practice children do in something; better they get at it, if children are unable to take part in group activities as often as others, obviously, they will not be able to get as much practice. Emotional well-being is also very important in children’s development, we need to appreciate and understand that other people also have needs. Developing emotional maturity and being able to develop social skills properly and confidently is very important for their development, for example if there is a child in your class who is often ill, to support him/her properly we should try to involve them in as much group activities and physical activities; as they can deal
