Cancer is a medical abnormality and growth of cells. There are external factors such as tobacco, infectious organisms, chemicals, unhealthy diets, and unhealthy diets. Internal factors that causes cancer are genetic mutations, hormones, and immune conditions (American Cancer Society page 4). When the cells become blocked up in to a mass they are then called tumors. Depending on the tumor it can either be benign, which is noncancerous, and malignant which are cancerous.
