Introduction I would like to do the research in external environment before opening the Disney theme park in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Johor Bahru is the capital of the Johor state of Malaysia. Johor Bahru city receives about 16 million tourists annually. Johor is connected by two bridges with neighboring Singapore country, which bring Johor into the biggest financial center of Malaysia.

Culture Malaysia is a highly multicultural country such as Malaysians, Chinese and Indians. That’s mean they all have different rules to do the business in Malaysia. Malaysia is a Muslim country, so men and women do not shake hand with the same sex because they believe into physical touch between sexes might be seen inappropriate. For business meeting avoid making appointment on Friday because this is a day for Muslims to pray. Malaysian culture refers to treat the senior persons with great respect. Malaysia is a very diverse country so Disney needs to strongly understand of foreign consumer lifestyle to make the right decision for management styles. Disney mission states “the happy place on the earth” so every kid much loves it. Disney in Malaysia mainly focus on targeting the kids, parents and young adult from all over the Asia countries such as China, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Singapore.
