I work at Grand Canyon University as a lope specialist. As a description, we evaluate transcripts of prospective students, recognize what classes may transfer so they don’t have to retake a class and then send this information over to the enrollment counselors. This job can be boring at times because it is repetitive, therefore because we perform the same tasks over and over, sometimes we may complete a step without knowing it. Our department has both internal and external interactions. However, since I am a student-worker, focus will be on internal interactions.
