Extending School Hours Research Paper

Decent Essays
Obviously, lengthening the school hours for math and ELA time would enhance the minds of all students. But, students do not need extra time in school. As a result, of extra time in school, students would not have time to participate in activities and sports after school. Despite the curricular improvements, extending school hours would also force students into losing focus throughout the day. Long days full of classes would force students to be extremely tired by the end of the day. And since they are tired and unfocused, students would be too tired in order to participate in activities after school. Overall, lengthening the school hours would have a negative effect on students and would allow them no time to accomplish after school activities.
