Ethical Dilemmas and Challenges Developing an evaluation plan can help an agency manage the relationship it has with its stakeholders. However, an agency or community program may face numerous ethical dilemmas and challenges that may threaten the successfulness of the program. Such as stewardship, or demonstrating socially responsible management of resources to those who have supported the agency or community program (Waters, 2009). In our proposal, Extended Hands promote services that will benefit single parents that are seeking affordable and quality child care. These services include extended hours and meeting certain educational, medical and mental health needs. If Extended Hands does not meet these proposals the agency runs the risk of an ethical dilemma. Extended Hands holds the responsibility of ensuring that Humanitarians Are Us Foundation funds are being used for services that the agency stated it will provide. However, the agency will face challenges along the way. Two expected challenges of the Extended Hands Program are providing extended hours and providing services within the budget range. The provision of extended hours will be from 6:00 in the morning until 9:00 in the evening. The challenge faced with providing these hours is having enough staff and volunteer coverage to service single parents and their children. A contingency plan to combat this challenge is to ensure that the agency solicit the community to gather volunteers and interns. The agency may visit the local community colleges and offer flexible internship hours to students to cover Extended Hands’ extended hours. Also, Extended Hands’ can have informational sessions at the local community center that tells about the program and ask for
