Extended Definition Of A Hero

Decent Essays
Have you ever wondered what defines a hero? It is not difficult to be a hero. Anyone can be a hero to their family or friends. If they are an all around positive person, they are probably a hero to someone. It would be a much better world if everyone was a hero, but things do not really work out like that. A hero is someone who helps, saves, and does positive things, they are not someone who bullies, hurts people, or makes people bitter.

A hero makes people ecstatic and just all around does positive things, they are not mean. Take Martin Luther King Jr for example, he was the main person who stopped segregation. Then there is Clara Barton, who created the Red Cross. She was a nurse in the American Civil War, a teacher, and a patent clerk. They also do not have to be a renowned person. A hero could be a father, mother, brother, sister, etc. In conclusion, you do not have to have powers to be a hero.
