Exquisite Adversity His blue striped tie rested against the navy silk-like dress shirt he chose to dress himself in for the occasion. The color complimented his combed red hair as it shined, more so from the sun, while its natural state was a shade darker. He had tucked the tails of his shirt into a pair of black dress pants held on his hips by a black belt accenting the shined black shoes that put the final touch to his attire. The cuffs on his sleeves were buttoned, and the collar of his shirt fastened while the top buttons covered by the knot of the tie.
Resting on his arm was the hand of his company who he had coordinated his wardrobe with. On her wrist rested the corsage made up of three white flowers and blue tulle with diamond-like jewels. The two matching bracelets

Her date looked down at her lovingly, which the girl was oblivious to see at the time; but in that moment, no one paid attention to the camera that had gone off, as they were too busy in their own world, while it captured that exact moment. Unknown to most people, that picture was to be her favorite, put on her picture board among others to be a constant reminder of what she knew her love was capable of and what he used to be. The picture would not stay there forever though. It will be taken down off the board in another 9 months and put into a box among other things that gave her heartache, along with the memories that would make her cringe at the thought. Even so, she would still love that picture, and looking at the man who gave her so much, but took more away. The picture will probably get old as it is forgotten until a later day, and the box will get filled with other lessons learned and more heartache—yet this girl is strong. She will keep moving on and catching the pains throws at her, and as the land-mines blow her up into the air, she knows she will always land in a beautiful place called
