In my opinion, I think Ötzi died from exposure to the cold. Here are my three reasons why. One reason is, there are a lot of freak storms in the alps. He could have gotten covered in snow even if he was well prepared. Secondly, he could have been tired so he decided to take a nap. He was found laying down like he went to sleep and never woke up. Lastly, maybe he tried to start a fire but couldn't keep it going. Since he was so high in the alps there wouldn't have been a lot of oxygen to keep the fire going. Ötzi was also above the tree line so he couldn't have found wood to fuel the fire. In conclusion, I believe that Ötzi died because of exposure to the
