You Probably have heard that Pit Bulls are a fierce, eerie type of dog, right? But are Pit Bulls really as bad as you thought? Pit Bulls can be family pets. Now they can be great family dogs with the correct training and care. There are many facts that you probably don't know about Pit Bulls. In their first year of their life they grow to full size. Full size isn't really that big though because they only grow 17-22 inches tall. They are also very light they are normally around 22-110 pounds. First things first, Pit Bulls are very good at agility, carting, weight pulling, hunting, and tracking. They are also great when it comes to farming and protecting livestock. They are very energetic and require daily activity. They are great with people but will need socialization with other dogs at a young age, because if they don't get that time they may misbehave or even wrestle with other dogs because they might think that the other dog is trying to attack someone. They are easy to have though because they have very few dental problems and their hair is very easy to groom.
