“One choice can transform you or it can destroy you” (Divergent, pg. 213). The author implements many quotes in her book that have meaning to her characters in the story and to us. When war breaks out in the factions, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves and herself by doings things she never thought she would before like, choosing the enemies side just to save her brother. “One choice decides your friends, one choice defines your beliefs, one choice determines your loyalties forever.
