In this exploratory study, qualitative research is used with a small sampling of counselors. The analytical method was thematic analysis (TA) as a flexible theoretical approach to analyze the obtained qualitative data. The method of TA is well suited to investigate counselors ‘experiences of working with the infidelity subject. Data-driven was an approach from Boyatzis, 1998 to interpret the data, with the analytical focus in agreement with the Willig, 2003 study of the epistemological position of "critical realism" in changing experiences and languages for future new experiences.
