Bullying has many contributing factors. The four factors of bullies are evil souls, cowardice, deviance, and contempt. Defenders have five contributing factors which are general admiration, courage, cool, empathic care, and fair justice. Researcher performed a quantitative exploratory study on moral evaluation of bullies and defender. 357 sixth grade students participated in the study. 199 girls and 158 boys age ranging from 11 to 13. Moral evaluation of the protagonists of bullying and defending were measured using a vignette-based method. The behavior in bullying resulted in two factor evil souls and cowardice.
