As part of the mandatory graduation requirement here at Keuka College, all students are asked to participate in internships referred to as field periods. For these field periods we’re asked to go out into a specific field, whether it be your area of study or just on an exploratory basis, and experience firsthand what it is to work in that field. One of the major reasons for participating in these internships, aside from the fact that they’re mandatory, is that it gives us real world experience and as well as experience in your specific field when you graduate, but also because it give you a chance to experience and see if that is something you would love doing or if you should change fields.
