This patient was booked as an outpatient surgical case for AV fistula placement when seen preoperatively she was found to be hypertensive and therefore the procedure was not carreied she was admitted acutely inpatient. The patient is a 70-year-old female with a medical history of end-stage renal disease on hemodialysis, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, depression, seizure disorder and morbid obesity. The patient is a resident of Bergen Regional long-term care. It was determined that she needed cardiovascular clearance in order to be done. When the patient underwent echocardiogram and they were trying to do a stress test however it was pointed out by the cardiologist that the patient would not fit in the nuclear stress camera.
