In 1939-1945, The second World War has begun when Germany made an attack into Poland. The battle absorbed the other countries in the heat of battle as well. This was also during the time where Adolf Hitler rose in power and blamed the Jews for the victory of the first World War. The world went through major changes mainly for the Jews. Hitler would send the Jews to concentration or death camps where they are put in gas chambers, burnt in chambers of fire, or killed by Nazis. The Diary of Anne Frank shows examples of some historical perspectives is that 1.) the story is about a girl hiding with her family and other when Nazis occupied the Netherlands, 2.) in the first and second act of the play some of the characters would say something about the war like on page 179 lines 79 to when Miep told Mr. Frank that the invasion has begun and Mr. Frank told the others to celebrate for they are going to be liberated and war would be over sooner. But not all stories end in good endings because right in the end their worst fears came true for on page 185 on lines 44 to 49 when they first heard of cars outside stopping and making a loud screech and then men were outside knocking on the door, yelling commands to open the door, then more cars came and the knocking would get louder and harder, they even pressed the doorbell signaling them to open it, but they wouldn’t so they use the butt of the weapons or guns to open the door and while the people who were inside the building waiting to be taken away for there was nothing else to do or any other way to escape the Nazis and Gestapo, then the door was busted open. The times set back to the characters from the first Act of the Diary of Anne Frank where Mr. Frank and Miep were talking about Anne and how she was happy to see the world she couldn’t see for two years, and Mr. Frank was the only survivor of the group from the times of hiding. Mr. Kraler was a person who also helped the group who went into hiding by
