Marble was used to make this sculpture. This sculpture is a young boy who seemed to have killed two geese. In relation to size, the young boy is not the size of what a boy his age would actually be. The artist of this sculpture is Italian so I believe the setting of this sculpture maybe in Italy due to style of this sculpture. The figurine consist of geometric shapes. The texture that is used is visual texture. At a glance it appears that this sculpture is rough because granules are visually present however when touched, it is very smooth due to the glaze. The glaze makes the sculpture highly finished. Shadow is definitely used in certain areas of the sculpture the boy’s faces gives its own shadow onto his chest. Also, shadow is given off from the wings of the geese unto the back of the boy’s body. The artist wanted the artwork to be viewed at different angles. That idea is given due to the fact at first glance from the front you are not be able to see exactly what it is the boy is carrying because you can only see the geese’s head. However, once you look at the back of the sculpture you can see detail of the geese’s wings and feet. The artwork used space however it does not appear to be in
