Explain Why We Should Not Go To School

As of right now we are not deciding where our tax dollars go. The Government just takes our money and does away with it as they see fit. However, what if you got the opportunity to write them and tell them how the money should be spent. Should our tax dollars go towards education, national health care, or the military? I believe the money should go towards education. One thing tax dollars could go towards in education is keeping schools clean. Students should not be going to school in a filthy, verminous building. Monthly pest control visits where the whole school gets treated need to be paid for. More than once have I seen a roach in a school building and it is disgusting. It distracts me from paying attention because once I see the pest, I have to keep my eye on it to find out where it’s going. Then, there needs to be maintenance staff, such a janitor, to keep the school clean in general to keep students healthy. Another thing tax dollars could go towards in education is security. Schools should have the highest quality security system there is to keep harmful people out of the school. The student’s safety should be the number one priority anyway. A few extra police officers would be helpful as well to supervise students. That way, if a fight breaks out, police officers can step in and stop other students from being harmed. There is already enough pandemonium going on with national health care that more money going towards it would be a waste. There is also already enough war going on that it would just cause more conflict if more money were to go towards the military. Children are our future, which means they need to best they can get so they can become the best that they can be. And for them to get a superlative education requires money.
