Every year the government spends a lot of money on young people related driving accident. The legal age should be raised to twenty-one because teenagers are drinking and driving. Teenagers don't know much of the consequences that come with driving. Sometimes they are irresponsible and Government need to make the driving test harder if they are not going to make the age higher. Also young drivers put themselves and other people at risk because of their low experience. Many accidents happen on the road and a lot of it now deals with young drivers who are distracted by cell phones or friends. Teenagers are more likely to engage in dangerous behavior and even worse they are less likely to correct this behavior.
