Decent Essays
Since getting my license at age 16, I have been able to dive to work. Driving allows teens to do a lot more in terms of responsibility. The driving age should remain at the age of 16 because it allows the teen to set a job, not worry about catching a bus, and teaches them responsibitity.

It is important for a teen to have a job at the age of 16. Teens do not have to rely on their parents for everything such as buying gas and jast food a person does not have to rely on a parent to get to his job. Getting a job and driving at the age of 16 prepares the student for the real world.

If teens drive at the age of 16, a student does not have to worry about missing the school bus. If a student’s parents have to work and he misses the school

I disagree with the lawmakers possible raising the legal driving age to 18 because, 16 year olds are already responsible enough for jobs, any new driver is inexperienced, and provisional licenses would be a more effective solution. If people deemed 16 year olds, old enough for jobs that go late into the night, why not deem us responsible enough to drive? If we do get our licenses when we are 16, then we can learn the rules, pay costs when we have our parents as back up, and learn to take responsibility. The misunderstanding is that lawmakers think that 16 year olds, new drivers, are dangerous. When really any new driver is dangerous.…

Every teenagers dream is to drive and be on there own, but is the age limit to drive right. Driving can be dangerous when people get in a serious wrecks. My opinion the age limit to start driving, which is 16 to 18, is the best option. The driving age should stay the same, 16 to 18, because teens start driving and get use to it, start to be responsible, and don’t have to ask their parents for a ride to school and specific places. Teens need to start driving and get use to it before they get out in the real world.…

Should the legal driving age be raised to 21? There has been much discussion about the driving age should or should not rise to twenty one. People who support raising the age of drive think that it decreases the number of accidents happen in the road by the teenagers. However, in reality it is not a good solution to raise the age because a lot of teens need to drive. Actually, they need to lengthen the time of tuitions until they drive very well and they feel confidence enough while driving in the road.…

Turning sixteen years old is an exciting time in a teenagers life. They're now eligible for a drivers license. giving them not only freedom but control , something they've yet to expirence. While its a good idea to start teens driving at the age 15 so they're able to get all the practice and expirence they need before receiving a license, driving limitations on teens should be toughened not only to protect teen drivers but the community of the teens as well. Most teens feel they're an adult by the age of 16 but they yet to take on the responsibilities and the behavior as an adult would, some areas more than others although they're many teens who are responsible with most things they do, some teens if not all feel obligated to impress those who take the passenger seat while they're driving.…

Teenagers are not mature enough and this is the first reason why driving age should be raised. Teenagers wait for a long time to drive and when they finally be 18 and can drive they do crazy things like driving very fast which is unsafe thing for them and for other drivers on the road. Letting the teenagers drive in early age would increase the number of car accidents. As it is mentioned 5000 teenagers dies every year from car accidents. Teenagers are not matured enough to…

At the time, I would always hate hearing someone complain about it, but now since I have my license, Ill almost catch myself complaining about the same things. Although I think it is rather idiotic to increase the driving age, I do, however, understand why the option is being put on the table. Most young people tend to be "careless" and "wild," but driving itself can be a tricky task no matter who or how old you are. Scientists and researcher have shown that teenager's brains are not quite developed, and some may say they're not mature enough to drive. From 2014, until 2016, there has been more elderly people in accidents rather than…

The driving age should be bumped up to the age 18 because they'll have more time to learn the rules of the road, gain more experience, and be more aware of driving in general. This would not only be helpful to the new drivers, but also for all the current drivers out there. Before teens could even think about going behind the wheel, they have to hit the books on the multiple rules of the road. These rules have been developed and enforced around the country so that the highways, streets, and all pavement is safe for all while in and on all motor vehicles.…
