There might be other people who gets hungry before lunch comes and I hate it myself when I get hungry because your stomach starts to hurt. Consuming food gives you energy and helps you focus on what the teacher is presenting in class. I just think a snack should be acceptable not a whole meal but just a snack. I think students don’t eat enough during lunch and they would get hungry before and after lunch. I sometimes bring snacks to school and sneak them in my mouth. Some snacks I bring are like chips or cookies. I also have some doubts about eating

School offers memories to be made, both good and bad, but the worst of them all is the lunch that is served. During the Obama administration, healthy alternatives to “junk” food were implemented into schools. Since then, “unhealthy” foods and large food portions have been eliminated. Some see this as a pro rather than a con, but athletes say otherwise. Healthy food choices and small portion sizes that American schools offer are unfair to athletes because they require more calories than the average person.…

I don't think that the toy in kid's meal is the link to unhealthy eating and childhood/adult obesity. I feel there are many factors involved in the reason for obesity, but I don't believe that the banning of toys in kid's meals is the answer. I feel that would be an overstepping of the government to act as the "fast food police. " I think the public could create a demand for healthier kid's meal from these businesses if it was truly something that the public wanted. If the public didn't purchase these meals, then the companies would look to create other healthier meals that the public demanded.…

One student says “Usually we go to the student store and I'll buy a bag of Cheetos...or like chips, sometimes a Gatorade, yeah" when asked what they will do when the school lunch doesn’t fill them up enough. This is a problem that is hard to deal with, because having bags of snacks that students can munch on sort of goes back on the whole idea of “healthy lunches” and has the student spending money on top of their bought lunch just to get filled up for the rest of the day. Giving students a healthy option is ideal, but having them eat something that tastes bad and won’t even fill them up doesn’t seem right. There are some arguments that some people can make as to why healthy school lunches are extremely important and why they mustn’t change.…
