So many high school juniors and seniors get stressed out everyday thinking about their future education. Pursuing a college degree after graduating high school is nothing to take lightly, which is why it is so important to make the right decision. So why do most seniors decide to go to a four year university right after graduating from high school? Most people do not just want to go to a community college, due to the fact that an associate's degree will not help someone earn a lot of lifetime money. People attend four year universities because they are planning ahead and thinking about their future, which is a good thing. If someone wants to have a nice car and house, and have enough money to raise a family, they will need more money than an associate's degree can provide them with. This explains why people make the decision whether to attend a university or not, because they are considering the future consequences.
Costs Vs. Benefits, Incentive Matters, and Future Consequences Count are the three economic principles that help justify why people are willing to spend thousands of dollars to attend a university rather than a community college. These are just a few of the economic principles that explain why students choose universities over community colleges, because of all the good things it can bring about. Going to a four year university might be more expensive, but I think all alumni would say that it was worth it. Hard work pays off, and the amount of money someone spends usually pays off
