However, once they leave high school they usually enter full-time jobs which require them to wake up earlier. Especially if they need to commute from point A to point B. During this time they’ll have to learn to wake up earlier in order expect the unexpected and still get to work on time. Take John as an example: His school started later in the morning and matched with his “natural sleep clock” and left him more alert in class. However, once he graduated and was working a full-time job he struggled to adjust to the early time he had to wake up. Plus his job was in another city so he had to go across the Bay Bridge Tunnel. Turns out during the first week of his job, every day there was a car accident which lead to a back-up. Needless to say, he was late to work every day for his first week and was deemed untrustworthy. In addition, he could barely keep awake due to the fact he wasn’t yet used to waking up so early. Very little work was done and soon he was fired from his job with little experience to show for
