The reason it is important to stay informed because things that others do affect our lives in many ways. Politicians, government workers, and others affect our lives by doing your part in a citizenship, to help make the right decision by voting for the right candidate, and if you are not sure how to stay informed you can turn to reliable sources. First, staying informed is part of being a part of a citizenship because making the wrong decision or not staying informed can be harmful. For example, if someone not staying informed doesn’t know about a new regulation, they could get themselves in trouble while hurting others. Second, if someone doesn’t make the right decision by voting for the right candidate, they could elect someone who is hurtful
