It’s important for kids to fit in It is important for kids to know they fit in. Kids find it important to be loved. To feel respected is another thing they find important. It is HUGE for kids to feel they belong. It is important for kids to fit in, in middle school. One way it is important for kids to fit in is to dress alike. Kids dress alike at school so no bully or jerk will be able to tease them. A bully won’t tease him/her because they are dressed like everyone else around them. A day after I watched Hunger Games, I wore my mockingjay necklace to school. Somebody sitting at my table asked me “Is that a Hunger Games necklace?” So I answered yeah, “Well I hate the Hunger Games!” It’s like he wanted me to take it off. I felt like a bug stomped into the ground for the rest of the day.Now if you look around your classroom right now, you won’t see many Disney shitrts anymore. This is a way kids fit in because only a couple young teens in middle school still be who they are and not what everyone else wants them to be.
