Letting girls and boys play together on the same team is a benefit for both girls and boys. They can develop a friendship like no other it can also build great confidence for the girls knowing that they can think/play like the boys. Building a bond/friendship with your teammates is good if you ask me because you know that they will help you with anything you need, and they are always by your side. By allowing girls to play on boys team is a great thing because your allowing your child/children to build a friendship with someone that they could look up to when they need help or have a question about whatever sport or activity they are participating in.

Girls can teach boys skills and vice versa and by them teaching each other skills then they can try using those skills that they have been taught. For example, if your on the basketball team and one of your teammates doesn’t know how to shoot a lay-up or a free throw, you can help them and teach them some skills so they can remember how to shoot that lay-up or free throw. If your playing soccer and somebody doesn’t know how to control the ball in front of them, then you could teach them how to control the ball and how to shoot the ball into the goal and getting it passed the goalie. So as you can see we can teach each other different skills to help us in whatever we are participating
