Explain Why It Is A Sin To Kill A Mockingbird

The kids find out atticus took the job to defend tom when he was accused of raping a white women when she asked him in to help her with something. Atticus was the only lawyer to want the job. Then scout tries to fight cecil at school because he called her dad a nigger lover.

In chapter ten the book tell you why it is named what it is. Calpurnia tells scout that it is a sin to kill A mockingbird because all they do is make music for use they don’t hurt use that is why it is a sin to kil them. Tom is the mockingbird he does nothing but help the town and he tried to help the girl but everyone wants to hurt him for no reason.
