I believe that it is important for children to participate in both organized activities and engage in creative play but unfortunately, creative play can benefit children a lot more by allowing them to express themselves and come up with their own activities. For example, during my childhood I would go out with my friends to the park and we would become as imaginative as possible. We would come up with games like hide and seek, cops and robbers, freeze tag, and many other creative activities.
